We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Transportation Department in Melville, New York for an immediate start.
This role involves a diverse range of projects, including roadway design, traffic signals, stormwater management, waterfront infrastructure, traffic and transportation studies, lighting, and recreational facilities. The majority of projects are performed for municipal clients.
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
Prepare design, permit, construction, and bid documents
Perform quantity take-offs and develop construction cost estimates
Conduct analyses for studies and design proposals
Coordinate with clients and contractors
Manage, train, and mentor staff
Oversee billing and collections
Proficient use of AutoCAD / Civil3D and Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills

Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Willingness and ability to commute to our Melville office for this on-site role (not remote)
