The organization is looking for a Rental Account Manager to join the team, working Monday–Friday between 7:00am–5:00pm.
What You’ll Do:
The Rental Account Manager is responsible for the sales and marketing of the Commercial Truck Rental product line. They will also oversee the day-to-day operation of the rental fleet, including utilization and revenue per unit, while managing accounts to the highest level of customer service. The ideal candidate is results-driven, self-motivated, and inspired to exceed expectations, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound, profitable decisions.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Actively market the commercial truck rental product line
- Develop and execute effective marketing plans with measurable results
- Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business
- Visit assigned customers and prospect new ones, serving as a public relations liaison
- Communicate rental needs to internal support teams
- Meet rental revenue and utilization budgets, as well as new business sales goals
- Complete prospecting activities to secure appointments with decision makers
- Schedule and document activities
- Monitor market behavior and competitive trends, responding accordingly
- Regularly meet with management to review sales activities, progress, and prospective customers
Required Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of related sales experience preferred
- Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, planning, and time management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a customer service focus
- Must work well independently and within a team
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $65,000–$70,000 per year (depending on skills and qualifications)
- Quarterly bonus opportunities and additional incentives
- Full-time position
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to pass post-offer drug test and background check
